About the Job

Join the team transforming care for people with immune challenges, rare diseases, cancers, and neurological conditions. In Specialty Care, you’ll help deliver breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of the highest unmet needs.

As a Product Manager, Rare Disease within our Specialty Care Canada organization, you will play a critical role in advancing Sanofi's mission to transform the lives of people living with rare diseases. You will help shape and execute brand strategies for innovative therapies, drive commercial performance, partner with cross-functional teams, and contribute to bringing future pipeline assets to patients across Canada.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of science, strategy, and patient impact. You will collaborate with Medical, Market Access, Public Affairs, Sales, and Patient Advocacy teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for patients while supporting the continued growth of Sanofi's Rare Disease business.

Rare Disease is one of Sanofi's three strategic pillars, alongside Immunology and Vaccines. As we continue to strengthen our existing portfolio and prepare for future launches, we are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about innovation, execution excellence, and improving patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of brand strategy for assigned rare disease products across the product lifecycle, ensuring commercial plans are grounded in deep customer, patient, and market insights.
  • Drive business performance and brand growth by translating strategic priorities into actionable tactical plans, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities to optimize outcomes for patients and Sanofi.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Public Affairs, Patient Support Programs, and Sales, to ensure seamless execution of brand plans and launch activities.
  • Support launch readiness planning for pipeline assets, helping shape the market, identify patient opportunities, and prepare the organization for successful product introductions in Canada.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals, patient organizations, and key stakeholders to deepen disease understanding, identify unmet needs, and ensure strategies reflect the realities of Canadian patients and healthcare systems.
  • Leverage market research, analytics, and real-world evidence to generate insights that inform strategic decisions, strengthen value propositions, and support reimbursement and access discussions.
  • Collaborate with global teams to adapt global strategies to the Canadian environment, ensuring local relevance while maintaining alignment with broader franchise objectives.
  • Manage tactical execution and agency partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all internal and external requirements.
  • Monitor the competitive and policy environment to identify emerging opportunities and risks, proactively recommending actions that strengthen Sanofi's leadership position in rare diseases
  • Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives by leveraging advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), real-world data, and emerging technologies to generate actionable insights, enhance customer engagement, improve decision-making, and identify new opportunities to accelerate patient identification, access, and brand performance.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PharmD, or equivalent) is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical marketing (> 3 years), product management, or commercial roles, preferably in rare diseases, specialty care, biologics, or hospital products.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on execution mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex clinical, market, and business information and translate insights into impactful commercial actions.
  • Experience working effectively within a matrix organization and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a patient-centric approach, with a passion for improving the lives of patients living with rare and complex diseases.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, senior leaders, and global partners.
  • Financial and analytical acumen, including forecasting, budget management, and performance tracking.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.

As a Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Shape the future of rare disease care in Canada by supporting innovative therapies that have the potential to transform patients' lives.
  • Contribute to exciting launch opportunities within one of the industry's most dynamic and rapidly evolving rare disease portfolios.
  • Work at the intersection of science, strategy, and patient impact, partnering with expert colleagues across Medical, Market Access, Public Affairs, and Commercial functions.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with patient communities, healthcare professionals, and advocacy organizations who are driving change for people living with rare diseases.
  • Grow your career within a global biopharmaceutical leader, with access to development opportunities, mentorship, and international collaboration.
  • Join a high-performing and purpose-driven team united by a common mission: improving outcomes for patients and families affected by rare diseases.

Why Choose Us
