Production Engineer - Weld Shop

• •Manage day-to-day robotic MIG welding production in automotive weld shop.
• •Hands-on experience with Yaskawa MOTOMAN and Panasonic welding robots .
• •Robot teaching, programming, job editing and weld-path optimization .
• •Teach and optimize circular/continuous welds , weld points and welding sequences.
• •Monitor Production, Quality, Productivity, OEE and Delivery targets.
• •Troubleshoot robot, welding torch, wire-feeding and welding-process issues.
• •Handle welding fixtures, fixture validation and poka-yoke .
• •Reduce weld defects, rework and rejection through root-cause analysis.
• •Support cycle-time reduction and Kaizen/continuous improvement .
• •Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teams.
• •Train operators on robot operation, teaching procedures and basic troubleshooting.
• •Maintain production/process documentation and ensure 5S and safety on the shop floor.
