JOB DESCRIPTION – PRODUCTION

Department: Production

Position: Production Engineer / Production Supervisor

Reporting To: Production Manager

Job Purpose

To manage daily production activities and ensure products are manufactured on time, as per drawings, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• •Plan and manage daily production activities.
• •Ensure production targets are achieved within the required time.
• •Read and understand electrical drawings and production specifications.
• •Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Quality, Testing, and Design teams.
• •Ensure proper availability and use of materials and components.
• •Monitor assembly, wiring, fabrication, testing, and finishing activities.
• •Check production work as per drawings and quality requirements.
• •Minimize material wastage, rejection, and rework.
• •Maintain daily production records and reports.
• •Handle and guide production workers and technicians.
• •Identify production problems and coordinate for quick solutions.
• •Ensure proper use of machines, tools, and equipment.
• •Maintain safety, cleanliness, and discipline on the shop floor.

Qualification

• •Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• •1–3 years of experience in electrical manufacturing preferred.
• •Freshers with good technical knowledge may also be considered.

Skills Required

• •Basic knowledge of electrical panels and capacitor systems.
• •Ability to read electrical drawings.
• •Production planning and coordination.
• •Team handling.
• •Basic computer knowledge.
• •Problem-solving skills.
• •Quality and safety awareness.
