PROGRAM ANALYST

Summary

You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Marine Corps Petroleum Office Inventory Management of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.

Duties

• •You will serve as the subject matter expert on fuel accounting and inventory management and provide guidance and assistance to fuel management offices.
• •You will develop policies, plans, and procedures for implementing improved business practices and establish and maintain organization-wide policies for fuel accounting and inventory management.
• •You will serve as the technical expert on fuel systems and business processes and coordinate with customers to identify and implement process and procedural changes resulting from new or changing operational requirements.
• •You will participate as a member of the Management Assist Visit (MAV) team, conducting onsite inspections, meetings, and reviews.
• •You will prepare official deficiency reports on behalf of the MCPO Inventory Management Team.
• •You will coordinate with government and industry representatives and information technology personnel to remain current on developments and advancements in information technology.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing petroleum logistics functions, including fuel accounting, inventory management, and applying fuel management policies related to working capital funds; utilizing automated petroleum systems; developing, interpreting, and/or implementing policies, plans, and/or procedures for major program activities; managing complex projects and establishing business-wide standards; and coordinating with high-level stakeholders, including government emergency agencies and/or private industry partners.
