Project Management Officer

• •Act as the China UiR BPO Network Lead, driving central project coordination, governance, and execution across the UiR BPO organization.
• •Drive UiR BPO maturity development in accordance with the BPO Maturity Model roadmap, including establishing project dashboards and tracking progress toward maturity targets.
• •Collaborate with China BPO Network Leads and BPO representatives from other sectors to support cross-sector business process alignment and continuous improvement initiatives.
• •Prepare MOR/MCB management review materials and coordinate with OPL/OPM stakeholders to collect inputs, monitor action plans, and ensure timely follow-up of agreed actions.
• •Act as UiR representative in AI and digitalization initiatives by identifying opportunities for productivity improvement, automation, and enhanced decision-making through AI-enabled solutions.
• •Promote adoption of AI and digital tools by providing guidance, training, best practices, and practical use cases within the UiR organization.
• •Support and coordinate overall management meetings, business reviews, strategic discussions, and organizational events.
• •Demonstrate strong stakeholder management capabilities with a clear understanding of management priorities, expectations, and business needs.
• •Drive a continuous improvement mindset by proactively identifying more effective ways of working and improving organizational efficiency.

Requirements:

• •Academic (Bachelor or Master) degree with solid experience.
• •High level of ownership of data and report provided to management
• •Understand how project management works
• •Can independently manage small / non-complex projects
• •Confident and comfortable to talk to senior managers
• •Good communication skills in structural and logical way
• •Clear understanding of the interests, expectations, and needs of stakeholders

Responsibilities:

PMO Foundation

Understands the PMO core role (triple constraint, PGP, PMO processes), the ASML organizational structure and is able to explain this to colleagues.

Project Management Methodology (PMM)

Is aware of the steps and phases of the ASML Project management methodology (PMM) and applies this to own area of expertise.

Planning & alignment

Aligns robust and flexible plans within PMO and with business stakeholders.

Project Scheduling

Sets up schedules which enable stakeholders to easily acquire the information about project progress.

Financial Planning & Control

Knows how to estimate, budget and report project financial resources.

Risk and Issue Management

Knows how to support his / her customer to identify, prioritize and manage risks. Independently supports his/her customer with the IRR risk sheet and the risk management process and applies this to own area of expertise.

Reporting

Provides stakeholders, within own business context, with clear and timely updates and reports on status, planning, resources, etc.

Change Management

Supports change initiatives by providing analysis or monitoring progress with sponsoring / guidance from a project/program manager.

Stakeholder management

Has a clear understanding of the interests, expectations and needs of stakeholders within direct scope. Uses stakeholder insight to steer team discussions, ensuring the balance of different interests.

Advising

Provides advise on the own area of expertise (triple constraint management, PGP (product development), PMO processes (excl. risk management) and High Performing Teams.

People Development

Helps team members in their learning journey by giving (unsolicited) feedback, based on awareness of own skills and expertise.
