Join Our R&D Project Management Office

At Munters, project management is about more than planning and execution. As part of our R&D Project Management Office (PMO), you will join a team of experienced project managers who collaborate closely, share knowledge, and continuously improve the way we work. As an R&D Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional product development projects from concept through development, verification, and industrialization. In parallel, you will actively contribute to the development of our project management practices, helping strengthen our methods, tools, and capabilities.

You will report to the PMO manager R&D EMEA. The preferred location for this position is Munters HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, or Hodonín, Czech Republic.

Key Responsibilities

As an R&D Project Manager, you will:

• •Lead and coordinate product development projects throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept and design to production implementation.
• •Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and follow-up activities to ensure successful project delivery.
• •Drive collaboration across functions, including Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing.
• •Facilitate alignment and decision-making among stakeholders throughout the project.
• •Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and priorities in a clear, proactive, and engaging manner.
• •Transform complex information into clear visualizations that support understanding, transparency, and informed decision-making.
• •Prepare and present project updates and recommendations to Steering Committees, Product Boards, and other key stakeholders.
• •Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and best practices within the PMO.
• •Share lessons learned, experiences, and expertise with colleagues to strengthen the overall project management community.

Who You Are

To succeed in this role, you are an experienced project manager who enjoys leading teams through complex challenges and driving projects to successful outcomes. You combine structure and execution focus with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

You understand that one of the most important responsibilities of a project manager is to create clarity and alignment through effective communication. You are skilled at adapting your message to different audiences and using visualization to make progress, risks, and priorities easy to understand and act upon.

You also enjoy working as part of a collaborative PMO team where colleagues support and challenge each other, share best practices, and continuously develop the profession together.

Qualifications and Experience

• •University degree in Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• •At least five years of experience leading product development projects within an R&D environment.
• •Proven experience managing the development of industrial products from concept to market launch.
• •Strong project planning and execution skills, supported by experience with modern project management tools and methodologies.
• •Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• •Strong ability to visualize project plans, roadmaps, risks, and project status for different audiences.
• •Structured and organized, with the ability to create clarity, focus, and efficiency in a dynamic environment.
• •Fluent in English; Swedish is considered an advantage.
