About the job

Alfa Laval is on the journey of a step-wise rolling out of Shared Services within the group.We have today 6 HR Shared Service Centers, spread across the globe, working with HR-related matters and providing the foundation for developing the HR related support for our employees. To support this strategic direction we are implementing a global Time, Attendance and Absence management system across our international matrix organization.

We are now seeking an experienced Global Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new global payroll provider across multiple countries and regions - a collaborative professional who thrives in change and wants to make a real impact across our global HR community.

This business-critical project requires coordination across an international matrix organization, where payroll processes, statutory requirements, employment practices, banking arrangements and technology landscapes vary by country. The Project Manager will work closely with global and local payroll teams, HR, IT, finance, tax, treasury, procurement and external providers to align global objectives with essential local requirements.

You will manage the project from requirements definition and provider selection through design, implementation, country deployment and post-go-live stabilization. Responsibilities will include:

• •Participate the RFP process and vendor selection process
• •Coordinating provider selection, due diligence and implementation planning
• •Establishing project scope, governance, plans and decision-making structures
• •Liaise with international payroll vendors, internal teams, and regional stakeholders
• •Managing timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations
• •Coordinating data migration, system integrations, testing and payroll reconciliation
• •Planning parallel payroll runs, cutover, contingency measures and stabilization
• •Ensuring that local compliance and operational requirements are identified and addressed
• •Managing provider deliverables, issues, escalations and implementation performance
• •Supporting change management and readiness across global and local teams
• •Ensuring a controlled handover to the teams responsible for ongoing payroll operations and provider management
• •Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:

• •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field
• •Proven project management experience in complex, multi-country environments
• •Strong knowledge of payroll processes and their connections to HR, finance and technology
• •Experience implementing payroll providers or comparable HR technology solutions
• •Strong vendor and stakeholder-management capabilities
• •The ability to navigate competing global, regional and local priorities
• •A structured approach to governance, risk, data, testing, cutover and operational readiness
• •PMP or similar certification is a plus.
• •Strong understanding of time & attendance and absence management processes and how these connect to payroll.
• •Ability to manage projects across multiple countries and cultures, ability to work in a global, multicultural environment.
• •Strong communication and leadership skills; decision-making will be key
