Key Responsibilities

  • Test Execution: Execute manual test cases (functional, regression and user interface) on web and mobile applications.
  • Bug Reporting & Tracking: Identify, document, and report software defects, edge cases, and unexpected behaviours with step-by-step reproduction details using tracking tools like Jira.
  • Test Documentation: Assist in creating, updating, and organising test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Collaboration: Developers and product managers to clarify requirements and confirm issue resolution.
  • Automation Basics (Optional): Help write and maintain basic automated test scripts using frameworks like Playwright/ Postman.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Understanding: Basic knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and software testing principles.
  • Technical Familiarity:
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and logical thinking.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills for writing bug reports and documenting technical issues.
