QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (AIRCRAFT)

Summary

You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist in the Compliance & Quality Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

• •You will analyze acceptance criteria to ensure that overall quality requirements are identified.
• •You will lead investigations to determine facts, cause, and corrective or preventive actions required to resolve quality issues and problems.
• •You will conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections to verify aircraft conditions.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Planning and developing plans, procedures, instructions, and techniques for implementing and maintaining the requirements for a viable quality assurance program while modifying existing instructions and procedures when necessary Providing recommendations concerning action requests and proposed instructions to ensure divisional responsibilities are performed in the most effective way Documenting deviations from quality standards and performs follow-ups to ensure corrective action has been taken to correct the defect and to prevent recurrence Demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing; and the ability reason quantitatively Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievementMajor study -- quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position.
