Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of cloud-based court management applications through manual and automated testing, defect management, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. This position will be a full-time 9-month contract and onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas .

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non-functional testing
  • Perform testing and debugging of new and existing application software
  • Design, execute, and automate API testing using XUnit and perform manual API testing using Postman
  • Collaborate with developers and Platform Engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Identify, document, track, and prioritize defects while ensuring timely resolution
  • Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and automation practices to enhance product quality and efficiency
  • Stay current with industry trends, quality assurance practices, and test automation technologies
  • Develop and evolve test plans for complex cloud-based applications
  • Deconstruct business and technical solutions into comprehensive test scenarios that maximize coverage and reduce risk
  • Create reliable and maintainable automated test suites
  • Extend and enhance existing automation frameworks to support new functionality
  • Support quality initiatives for a cloud-based court management system serving the Arkansas Judiciary

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Tester, or similar role
  • 4+ years of experience with .NET unit testing frameworks
  • 4+ years of experience with end-to-end functional UI automation using tools such as Playwright
  • 4+ years of experience working with React applications
  • 4+ years of experience with React Testing Library, Jest, or similar testing frameworks
  • 4+ years of experience with accessibility testing tools such as Andi and Axe Dev Tools
  • 4+ years of experience testing applications built with C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • 4+ years of experience performing API testing and API automation using .NET and C#
  • 4+ years of experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL
  • 4+ years of experience working with Git or similar version control systems
  • 2+ years of experience testing cloud-native applications on AWS
  • 2+ years of experience working with AWS services including AWS Lambda
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting automated testing frameworks and CI/CD integration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with Court Case Management Systems
  • Experience supporting cloud-native application modernization initiatives
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments
  • Experience with large-scale public sector or government technology projects

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$28 - $32 per hour The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
