Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to validate product requirements
Identify and document non-conforming materials and products
Documentation & Compliance
Create, review, and maintain AS9100 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
Ensure accurate and complete documentation in internal systems and customer portals (e.g., Net-Inspect)
Maintain traceability and proper recordkeeping in accordance with AS9100 standards
Support internal and external audits, including customer audits
Cross-Functional Support
Partner with production, engineering, and purchasing to clarify requirements and resolve quality issues
Communicate discrepancies, risks, and corrective actions clearly and promptly

Assist in strengthening quality systems and standard work practices
Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of quality control or inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Hands-on experience completing AS9100 FAIRs
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under time constraints
Preferred
Experience in cable or wire harness manufacturing
Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or J-STD-001 standards
Experience working in an AS9100-certified environment
Experience with Net-Inspect or similar customer compliance systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality documentation systems
What You Bring
Strong understanding of inspection techniques and quality standards
Ability to balance speed and accuracy in a production environment
