Old Mission is a global proprietary trading firm that leverages state-of-the-art technology and research to identify and execute profitable trading strategies across multiple asset classes around the world. Responsibilities
Our quant trading interns will explore new trading strategies, engage in mock trading, take part in quantitative research, and develop related software. Our interns will participate in the firm’s education program, getting a chance to learn about all aspects of trading and financial markets both formally (in classes) and on-the-job. The internship program will start on January 4th, 2027, and conclude on January 22nd, 2027.
Required Skills
A strong quantitative background and familiarity with probability and statistics
An undergraduate degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, or one of the hard sciences
Graduating in December 2027 or May 2028
Familiarity with Python
The ability to work and solve problems as part of a team, often in a high-pressure environment
Proven trustworthiness and performance under the highest ethical standards
A strong desire for knowledge and to understand how things work
Superior written and verbal communication skills
A strong work ethic and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Base Salary
$2,500 per week
