Recruiter II

SEL is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Recruiter to help attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent. In this role, you will manage the full recruiting lifecycle, partnering closely with hiring managers and candidates to deliver an outstanding hiring experience. You will serve as an ambassador for SEL's culture and values, proactively building talent pipelines, evaluating candidates, and identifying top talent to support our continued growth.

The ideal candidate is a skilled recruiter who can work independently, build strong relationships, and effectively communicate SEL's employee value proposition. This position offers the opportunity to influence hiring outcomes, mentor team members, improve recruiting processes, and make a meaningful impact on the organization's success. Experience recruiting in a technical environment and familiarity with applicant tracking systems are highly valued.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.

2. Promote and sell SEL’s culture and values to attract candidates.

3. Follow standard recruiting guidelines and principles to attract, recruit, screen and interview candidates, flexes to meet customer needs.

4. Oversee and fill positions efficiently and timely with top talent, with little oversight.

5. Recommends placement of internal and referred candidates for entry-level positions.

6. Leads and supports the development and implementation of improvement efforts.

7. Manage confidential files and other privileged information.

8. Work independently to define and follow area processes, work instructions, and guidelines using initiative to propose solutions to problems.

9. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

10. Understand. Create. Simplify.

11. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or related professional experience

Typically 2+ years of recruiting experience

Demonstrated ability to attract candidates and build networks by selling company culture and values.

Ability to mentor and teach Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data

Strong organizational skills

Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL
• Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in technical recruiting environment

Applicant Tracking tools (ATS) tools experience

Pay Range: $81,300 - $122,000 annually

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Recruiter II level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
