About the job

As Regional Category Manager Construction and Engineering Services (all genders) within our European Construction & Engineering Services procurement team, you will help Sanofi to build up a diverse and health supply chain in CAPEX category for European region. In the booming construction industry, the role Project Regional Category Manager has never been more crucial. As building projects increase in size and complexity, the need for seasoned professionals who can source, manage, and coordinate resources grows ever more vital.

Main responsibilities:

• •Category Strategy: Develop end-to-end regional strategy for Construction & Engineering Services, aligned with Global Category Strategy, through internal/external analysis and industry benchmarking
• •Stakeholder & Supplier Relations: Build a strong regional stakeholder network and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery, and contract compliance
• •Portfolio & CAPEX Management: Build CAPEX pipeline/forecast, consolidate business needs, and ensure an efficient procurement organization to deliver the project portfolio
• •Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of 5 Category buyers, while tracking performance metrics and managing procurement savings reporting
• •Negotiation & Project Delivery: Negotiate favorable supplier terms, lead multi-location projects, support RFQs, and deliver world-class savings objectives
• •Innovation & Issue Resolution: Act as a change agent bringing outside innovation and global best practices, while resolving supplier issues effectively
• •Technical Excellence & Compliance: Ensure procurement excellence (TCO, SRM, risk management, ESG, CSR) and adherence to safety, quality, and compliance regulations

About you

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or another relevant field.

Experience :

• •Professional CAPEX procurement experience in pharma industry is a must
• •Construction experience

Soft and technical skills:

• •Good knowledges of CAPEX
• •Construction & Equipment Supplier market of Pharmaceutical
• •Preferred demonstrated knowledge of procurement systems, processes and procedures
• •Analytical and negotiation skills and techniques
• •Strong Project Management skill and knowledge
• •Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skill
• •Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Languages

Excellent command of both written and spoken German and English required

Travelling requirement :

Occasionally (3-4 times/year)

The salary range for this position is :Ft15 840 000,00 - Ft21 120 000 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
