About the Role

Regional execution lead acting as the delivery arm for centrally created Microsoft programs across selected countries — operationalising initiatives into standardised country execution plans and ensuring consistent deployment, governance and reporting through the Sales Execution PMO. The role tracks adoption and outcomes end to end and holds the execution cadence that turns regional strategy into country activity.

The role is deliberately positioned across all Microsoft Cloud Solution Areas rather than a single initiative or sub-domain. It carries one consistent execution model across Azure, Modern Workplace, Security and Business Applications, resolves competing demands between solution areas at regional level, and works with countries and enabling teams (marketing, enablement, presales/COE, operations) to deliver defined activities to a common standard.

Key Responsibilities

Execution planning & delivery

Plan and execute assigned initiatives across all Cloud Solution Areas, including milestones, dependencies and country engagement.

Run the execution cadence and maintain action tracking, risks and blockers across the cross-CSA portfolio.

Operationalise POD outputs into standardised country execution plans and ensure consistent deployment across markets.

Cross-CSA orchestration

Coordinate with marketing, enablement, presales/COE and operations to deliver initiative outputs across every solution area.

Sequence and de-conflict activity where initiatives from different Cloud Solution Areas compete for the same country resources or partner attention.

Identify country-led activities that can be scaled into a regional activity within the POD, including plays that translate across solution areas.

Standardisation, best practice & enablement

Capture best practices and convert them into repeatable execution guidance and assets usable across Cloud Solution Areas.

Support adoption of standardised sales plays and contribute structured feedback to improve play design.

Ensure compliance with global standards (taxonomy, reporting fields, asset versioning) in all execution.

Reporting, governance & escalation

Provide structured progress reporting and escalate issues to the PMO and the Regional BD Solution Leads.

Maintain clear visibility of execution status, risks and mitigation for the full cross-CSA initiative portfolio.

Own day-to-day execution planning and coordination; recommend adjustments to execution approach and propose improvements.

Escalate prioritisation conflicts between solution areas to the Regional BD Solution Leads and the Sales Execution PMO.

Success Measures

Initiatives delivered on time with measurable outputs across all Cloud Solution Areas.

Clear visibility of execution status, risks and mitigation at regional and country level.

Country participation and follow-through on agreed actions.

Actionable feedback loops into sales play improvement.

One consistent execution standard applied across solution areas, evidenced by reusable assets and adopted plays.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience leading cross-country initiatives and delivery cadences in a regional or pan-European remit.

Experience operating across multiple solution areas or business lines simultaneously, balancing competing priorities without direct authority.

Working knowledge of the Microsoft partner ecosystem and cloud solution areas (Azure, Modern Workplace, Security, Business Applications).

Execution leadership and structured delivery: milestone, risk and dependency management as a core discipline.

Strong organisation, PMO-style governance discipline and a continuous improvement mindset.

Languages: fluency in English required; a second European language preferred.
