About You

Registered or Provisional Veterinary Technician required

2+ years working in a veterinary clinic

Emergency or specialty experience a plus

Reliable, organized, and committed to providing high-level patient and client care

Experience With

Venipuncture, catheter placement, and diagnostic sample collection

Anesthesia monitoring, sedation, and procedures

Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy

Medication calculation and administration (IV, IM, SQ)

Diagnostic imaging assistance (radiographs, ultrasound support)

Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate nursing care

Surgical prep, sterile technique, and instrument handling

Patient monitoring and pain scoring, with trend recognition

Compensation

Base Pay: $26.00-$29.00/hour

Swing Shift Differential: +$3.00/hour

Overnight Differential: +$5.00/hour

Surgery Technicians On-Call Extras

$8.00/hour extra when on call, whether you come in or not

$450 for each procedure completed

Eligible for overtime and shift differentials
