This isn't a "work on cool crypto stuff" company. It's a high-standards, high-velocity, high-accountability company building the operating system for value movement. Four offerings make that real: fund, tokenize, trade, and spend. 30M+ customers and 500+ ecosystem partners run on us. Licensed in the U.S. Regulated across the UK, EU, Canada, and Australia.
AI is the default operating mode here. It's woven into every role, and we expect you to use it daily. It handles the manual work so you can deliver on what actually matters.
You'll thrive here if outcomes excite you more than process, if impact motivates you more than titles, and if you want hard problems, real ownership, and teammates who love winning, building, and doing it together.
The bar is high. The pace is real. We're building for what's next, for humans and agents.

You'll work closely with Legal, Finance, and FIU teams to assist with license renewals and amendments, coordinate regulatory exam preparation, support partner due diligence reviews, and help keep our compliance policies and procedures up to date. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in the details of US state licensing and wants to grow their regulatory expertise at a fast-moving crypto company.
This role is a strong fit for a compliance professional who is organized, curious, and eager to contribute hands-on to a high-growth, highly regulated business.
What You Will Do
Assist with the maintenance of MoonPay's existing portfolio of US Money Transmitter Licenses (MTLs), including supporting renewals, amendments, and state regulatory correspondence.
Help coordinate state regulatory examinations by organizing documentation, tracking requests, and supporting responses across internal teams.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings to state money services business (MSB) regulators, including through the NMLS system.
Support due diligence reviews for new and existing business partnerships, helping assess licensing obligations and regulatory risks across applicable US jurisdictions.
Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and controls documentation to reflect current US state and federal money transmission requirements.
Monitor regulatory developments across US jurisdictions and flag potential impacts to existing licenses or operational obligations to senior team members.
About You
2–4 years of experience in regulatory compliance, ideally within fintech, payments, money services, or a related financial services environment.
Hands-on experience working with US state Money Transmitter Licenses, including renewals, amendments, and state regulator communications.
Familiarity with the NMLS system and state MSB licensing processes.
Working knowledge of US state and federal money transmission regulations and reporting requirements.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and regulatory obligations simultaneously.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Operations, and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points
Professional certifications (CAMS, CRCM, CCEP, or similar).
Experience supporting regulatory examinations end-to-end.
Exposure to crypto or digital asset regulatory frameworks.
Experience working in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
