Residential Support Worker

Liquid Personnel is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join its client’s team as Children’s Residential Support Workers in Derby. You will provide care and support to children and young people living in residential homes, helping them feel safe, valued, and empowered to achieve positive outcomes.

What will your responsibilities be?

Support children and young people with daily routines, emotional well-being, and personal development

Promote independence and encourage positive behaviours through role modelling

Assist with education, recreational activities, and community engagement

Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans respond to challenging situations calmly and professionally

Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to ensure holistic care

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)

Compassionate, patient, and committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare

Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to undertake training and development
