Job Summary**

The Retail Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of a Maxis Mobile retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Job Responsibilities**

• * Assist the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and motivating a team of retail sales consultants to achieve individual and store sales goals.
• * Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising standards.
• * Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by actively engaging with customers, resolving complaints, and providing expert advice on Maxis products and services.
• * Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and implement strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
• * Train new employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies and procedures.
• * Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.
• * Assist with scheduling, performance reviews, and other HR-related tasks as delegated by the Store Manager.
• * Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and security measures.
• * Act as Store Manager in their absence, taking full responsibility for store operations and team leadership.

Job Qualifications**

• * Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
• * Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• * Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
• * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• * Sound knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and cash handling.
• * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• * A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
