How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

This position is located at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (CRMH) Rehab in Roanoke, VA working full time, weekend nights, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 7pm-7am.

The RN Team Lead provides clinical leadership and oversight for patient care delivery while supporting staff development, operational efficiency, and quality outcomes. This role serves as a clinical resource, mentor, and team leader to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across assigned areas.

• •Serves as a team leader, clinical resource, mentor, and role model for staff.
• •Provides direct patient care and coordinates care delivery for patients of all ages.
• •Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
• •Leads and mobilizes the care team to support positive patient outcomes.
• •Facilitates effective communication and resolves operational issues within the work group.
• •Supports staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• •Participates in performance evaluations and contributes to development planning.
• •Assists with staffing, scheduling, and workload distribution to ensure adequate coverage.
• •Collaborates with leadership on fiscal management, resource allocation, and budget considerations.
• •Participates in performance improvement, patient satisfaction, and quality initiatives.
• •Conducts team meetings and promotes a positive, accountable work environment.
• •Ensures compliance with regulatory, licensure, and accreditation standards.
• •Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
• •Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
• •Supports organizational initiatives and adapts to changing priorities.
• •Responds to staffing needs, including supporting other Carilion facilities as required.





What We Require:

Education: Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program required.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience including demonstrated clinical and leadership expertise required.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. For Behavioral Health roles, de-escalation training must be completed within the required timeframe. For OB/GYN roles, EFM NCC certification required.

Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to manage challenging patient situations as appropriate to role.

 Compensation Range:

$39.00 - $62.40 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
