Role Summary

DBS Consumer Banking Group Technology is seeking a talented React Developer to join our team as Senior Associate. You will own the delivery of complex micro-frontend features for our digibank platform, serving millions of users across multiple Asia-Pacific regions. This role involves building cross-platform solutions that work seamlessly across mobile WebView and web browsers from a single codebase.

Responsibilities

• •Own end-to-end delivery of complex micro-frontend features for both mobile and web platforms
• •Develop scalable React applications using TypeScript and modern frontend technologies
• •Provide technical guidance and code review for junior developers
• •Optimize application performance across WebView and browser environments
• •Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
• •Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
• •Participate in technical discussions and contribute to platform improvements

Requirements

• •4-8 years of professional frontend development experience
• •4+ years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
• •Strong understanding of micro-frontend architecture and component-based design
• •Experience with React Hooks and state management libraries (Zustand, Redux, or similar)
• •Experience building applications for web browsers (mobile WebView experience is a plus)
• •Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• •Experience with modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Rsbuild, npm/pnpm/bun)
• •Good problem-solving and communication skills
• •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred

• •Experience in banking or financial services industry
• •Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• •Experience with design systems and component libraries
• •Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• •Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)
• •Understanding of security best practices in web development
