WHY JOIN ALO?
Mindful movement. It’s at the core of why we do what we do at ALO—it’s our calling. Because mindful movement in the studio leads to better living. It changes who yogis are off the mat, making their lives and their communities better. That’s the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.
OVERVIEW
In all we do, we strive to uphold Alo’s Guiding Principles with a “Together We Win” attitude and a relentless pursuit of excellence. The Senior Asset Protection Analyst is based at Alo’s Beverly Hills headquarters and provides analytical leadership, risk intelligence, and executive reporting for the Asset Protection & Safety function. The position is primarily focused on identifying and mitigating risk across Alo’s retail sanctuaries. The Senior Analyst will also evaluate relevant enterprise data and support risk analysis across broader company operations as business needs evolve. Operating with an AI-first mindset, the Senior Analyst uses approved artificial intelligence, automation, advanced analytics, and established Asset Protection methodologies to detect risk earlier, improve investigative efficiency, and guide strategic decisions. The role transforms complex data into actionable insights that protect company assets, safeguard employees and guests, and strengthen operational integrity. Consistent with Alo’s “Together We Win” principle, the Senior Analyst works collaboratively across functions, shares insights, builds alignment, and helps stakeholders turn data into meaningful action.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Asset Protection & Risk Analytics
Lead shrink and loss analysis across Alo sanctuaries, identifying trends by location, market, product, and contributing cause.
Analyze relevant transaction, inventory, RFID, incident, cash, audit, and operational data to identify emerging risks and areas of financial exposure.
Develop and enhance AI-supported risk scoring and early-warning indicators in partnership with technical and business teams.
Identify trends involving external theft, fraud, organized retail crime, internal dishonesty indicators, operational breakdowns, and control gaps.
Conduct root-cause analysis and translate findings into clear prevention strategies, resource priorities, and corrective actions.
Measure the effectiveness and financial impact of Asset Protection programs, controls, and mitigation efforts.
Support strategic risk assessments and ad hoc analysis involving material incidents, emerging threats, or business priorities.
Exception Reporting & Investigative Support
Own and continuously improve exception-based reporting across relevant enterprise datasets.
Use anomaly detection and established risk indicators to identify unusual transactions, inventory activity, cash discrepancies, and other exceptions requiring review.
Refine detection rules and alert thresholds to improve accuracy, prioritize material risk, and reduce false positives.
Lead the analytical component of investigations through transaction review, pattern identification, timeline development, and evidence organization.
Prepare accurate, objective, and decision-ready case materials for Asset Protection, Human Resources, Legal, and operational leadership.
Maintain complete and appropriately secured analytical and investigative records.
Treat AI-generated alerts as investigative leads that require validation and appropriate human review before conclusions or actions are taken.
AI, Automation & Technology
Use approved generative AI, automation, and advanced analytical tools to accelerate research, identify patterns, and improve the speed and quality of decision-making.
Develop scalable AI-assisted workflows for risk analysis, exception reporting, incident triage, investigative support, and recurring reporting.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, strengthen data integrity, and improve enterprise visibility.
Partner with IT, Information Security, Legal, Operations, and approved vendors to evaluate and implement relevant technologies.
Develop business requirements, testing criteria, and performance measures for technology pilots and system enhancements.
Evaluate technology based on accuracy, reliability, operational value, scalability, privacy, and financial return.
Use approved systems and authorized data while protecting confidential, investigative, employee, guest, and business information.
Dashboards & Executive Reporting
Own Asset Protection dashboards, KPI definitions, reporting standards, and supporting data-quality controls.
Automate recurring reporting, data validation, KPI monitoring, and leadership summaries where appropriate.
Deliver concise executive reporting that clearly communicates financial exposure, emerging trends, business impact, and recommended actions.
Present findings and strategic recommendations to Directors, Vice Presidents, and other senior stakeholders.
Support quarterly and annual Asset Protection planning, forecasting, and goal setting.
Track corrective actions and communicate whether identified risks and mitigation efforts are improving, stable, or deteriorating.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
Serve as a subject-matter expert on shrink, fraud, exception reporting, investigative analytics, and AI-enabled risk detection.
Lead cross-functional risk reviews and help stakeholders translate analytical findings into practical business action.
Build trusted partnerships with Retail Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, IT, Information Security, and other business stakeholders.
