Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior SAP CAP Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, CDS, and SAP BTP , capable of building and supporting cloud-native applications and integrations across SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Develop applications using:
- SAP CAP (Node.js)
- CDS Views
Build and maintain OData services and APIs
Integration & APIs
- Develop and troubleshoot:
- REST APIs
- SAP integration scenarios (RFC, IDoc, APIs)
Generate data extracts in CSV/Excel formats
ABAP & Hybrid Development
- Enhance:
- OOABAP objects
- Enhancements and AMDP
Support hybrid BTP + ABAP architectures
Support & Optimization
- Debug CAP services and CDS views
- Optimize SQL queries and backend performance
- Handle production support issues
BTP & Deployment
- Work with:
- SAP BTP services
- Authentication, destinations
- Application deployment
Required Skills
- 7–12 years of experience
- Strong in:
- Node.js / JavaScript
- SAP CAP
- CDS, OData
- Experience in:
- REST APIs
- JSON
- Integration troubleshooting
Preferred Skills
- SAP BTP hands-on experience
- S/4HANA exposure
- FI/HCM domain understanding
