Process Overview*

CFO Data Management India team was set up in 2023 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to CFO Data Management, part of Enterprise CFO functions, consolidating legacy functions of Finance Data Management and Treasury Data Management. The capabilities hosted include Data Analysis, Product specialists with understanding of underlying Data for Liquidity/ Regulatory Reporting, Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing and Finance Systems Support

Data Management team enables the Finance Organization and supports data needs of finance business users

The Data Management team is involved in various activities (including, but not limited to):

Regulatory Reporting Related Data Management Activities: Team support activities related to US and EMEA Regulatory reports, data validation and resolution of Data quality issues Team performs a critical role in providing centralized support for Global Banking and Market products (Treasury, Traded, Loans & Deposits etc.) data validation and analysis for internal and external Liquidity reporting. Team is engaged in activities such as validation of data for regulatory reports, data quality issue resolution, data reconciliation with authoritative sources and posting adjustments. Team actively works on strategic initiatives aimed at improving the quality of numbers reported in regulatory reports Data Sourcing and provisioning: This includes defining and implementing data provisioning strategy to source the data from all lines of business into regulatory reports and management reports. Team is actively involved in sourcing initiatives where it works with various source systems, technology teams and report owners to source the data into regulatory reports as per regulator and stakeholder requirements.

Job Description*

This job is responsible for driving accurate, complete, and timely delivery of data. Key responsibilities include working with business stakeholders and technology teams to direct data management activities and ensure availability for use by appropriate consumers. Job expectations include managing execution within the enterprise data management standards, data quality, and control practices.

This role will support Enterprise Customer Profitability (a.k.a. Profit), which is an enterprise application and authorized data source which produces risk adjusted profitability data for ~ 210 MM customer accounts each month. The scope of Enterprise Customer Profitability spans the following lines of business.

As a member of the PDM team, this role will provide advanced technical and analytical guidance while influencing strategic initiatives. The role will lead global collaboration efforts, ensure governance and data integrity, and drive enhancements to the EC_PAM (Enterprise Customer Profit Analytical Measurement) platform. This role requires strong leadership in managing complex requirements and design considerations for rule logic, sequencing of rules for all bank products (inclusive of Global methodologies), as well as acting as the primary liaison for test coordination and parallel production monitoring across the India teams.

Responsibilities*

Individual will be required to lead and perform following responsibilities (this is an indicative list and could vary depending on business priorities)

• •Works with Line of Business partners, including Compliance, Audit, and Risk to understand needs and produce data solutions, often times in partnership with Technology
• •Identifies gaps in data management standards adherence and works with appropriate partners to develop plans for resolution, including recommendations so that relevant risk and compliance policies and standards are met
• •Analyzes emerging needs for data to address risk, regulatory, or business enablement priorities and appropriately plans for interim and target state solutions within data management policies
• •Monitors key performance indicators and internal controls in accordance with established thresholds, standards, and policies
• •Lead strategic efforts to improve profitability data delivery and utilization across the enterprise through comprehensive requirements capture and design considerations
• •Consult with senior business leaders on data strategy, governance, and optimization opportunities.
• •Drive change initiatives from requirements through design, development, testing, and post-production validation.
• •Support Profit monthly production with analysis, execution of controls and communications to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
• •Demonstrate proficiency of Profit methodologies, logic, data lineage and understand strategic uses of customer profitability data
• •Field user questions regarding differences between Profit and General Ledger data
• •Present to business partners including senior management to improve overall understanding of Profit data and the benefits it provides
• •Partner with Line of Business Finance, Operations, Marketing and Tech Teams – to understand and/or identify opportunities for integrating Profit data into internal management routines
• •Participate in developing requirements, supporting design and execute testing for Profit changes
• •Ensures data is accurate, complete, and fit for performing data analyses through various testing procedures and data controls which help to identify business insights fit for purpose for a particular product set
