Senior Manager - Chief Financial Officer - Aurora Flight Sciences

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Manager - Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Aurora Flight Sciences to lead the financial execution and strategy for Aurora Flight Sciences (AFS), a Boeing Company! This position is in either Manassas, VA, Bridgeport, WV or Columbus, MS . The selected candidate will be required to perform onsite duties at one of the listed location options.

Aurora's mission is to advance the future of flight with prototyping and advanced manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serves as key partner to the AFS senior leadership team and Phantom Works CFO to drive financial execution across Aurora’s portfolio of programs
  • Responsible for leading the team and setting the strategy for Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting, Accounting, Financial Operations and Rate Management
  • Owns the development and coordination for the AFS' Long Range Business Plan
  • Supervises the AFS indirect rate structure – publishing, tracking & reporting, and compliance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Boeing subsidiaries
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams
  • Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
