The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Health and Wellbeing to join our People & Capability team on a 12-month parental leave contract. This national role is responsible for overseeing injury management, workers compensation and wellbeing programs, ensuring strong return-to-work outcomes, leading wellbeing initiatives and providing expert advice across the business. Working closely with leaders, insurers and external partners, you will help drive a healthier, safer and more productive workplace for team members across Australia.
Responsibilities
Lead and support the national Injury Management and Return to Work strategy, improving recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
Provide expert oversight of complex and high-risk workers compensation claims and injury management matters.
Partner with operational leaders, People & Capability and Safety teams to embed best-practice wellbeing and return-to-work programs.
Manage relationships with insurers, brokers, rehabilitation providers and regulators to optimise performance and service delivery.
Analyse premium, claims and injury data to identify trends, drive improvements and support business decision-making.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline, with substantial experience in workers compensation and injury management.
Extensive knowledge of workers compensation legislation across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
Demonstrated experience working with insurers, brokers and claims management processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and influence outcomes.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships.
