Super7 is seeking a Senior Sales Director, Amazon to lead and accelerate the company's Amazon business across the United States.
This is a highly strategic and commercially focused leadership position responsible for developing Amazon into a significant growth engine for Super7. The Senior Director will own the overall Amazon business strategy, sales and profitability performance, retail execution, forecasting, promotional strategy, assortment architecture, and relationship with Amazon.
The ideal candidate is a proven Amazon operator who understands that success on Amazon requires much more than managing a digital shelf. This leader will combine commercial strategy, P&L ownership, data-driven decision making, operational discipline, brand stewardship, and strong cross-functional leadership to build a sustainable and profitable Amazon business.
The Senior Director will serve as the internal subject-matter expert on Amazon and will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Brand, Product Development, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure Super7 is maximizing the opportunity while protecting the company's brand and long-term economics.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Amazon Business
Develop and execute Super7's overall Amazon growth strategy.
Own Amazon revenue, gross margin, profitability, and key business KPIs.
Establish annual, quarterly, and monthly Amazon sales plans.
Build a clear vision for where Amazon fits within Super7's broader omnichannel commercial strategy.
Identify opportunities to accelerate growth through assortment expansion, pricing, promotional strategy, advertising, content, availability, and new product launches.
Establish clear goals and performance expectations for the Amazon business.
Regularly communicate business performance, opportunities, risks, and recommended actions to executive leadership.
Amazon Relationship & Retailer Management
Serve as the senior commercial relationship owner with Amazon.
Build productive relationships across Amazon buying, merchandising, vendor management, advertising, and operational teams.
Lead annual and quarterly business planning with Amazon.
Negotiate key commercial terms, promotional opportunities, assortment decisions, and growth initiatives.
Develop a strong understanding of Amazon's priorities, algorithms, retail mechanics, and organizational structure.
Advocate for Super7's business while maintaining a long-term strategic relationship with Amazon.
Proactively identify Amazon-specific risks and opportunities and develop action plans to address them.
P&L, Forecasting & Financial Management
Own the Amazon sales and profitability forecast.
Partner with Finance to establish accurate revenue, margin, trade spend, and profitability targets.
Develop monthly and quarterly forecasts based on POS, inventory, traffic, conversion, promotional calendars, launches, and historical trends.
Identify sales and margin gaps early and develop corrective action plans.
Analyze Amazon profitability at the SKU, category, and portfolio level.
Balance top-line growth with inventory health, margin, advertising spend, and working capital.
Establish disciplined reporting and business review processes.
Assortment & Portfolio Strategy
Develop an Amazon-specific assortment strategy aligned with Super7's overall portfolio architecture.
Determine the appropriate role of exclusives, core products, new launches, limited editions, bundles, and Amazon-specific offerings.
Identify whitespace opportunities based on consumer demand, search behavior, competitive activity, and category trends.
Partner with Product Development and Brand teams to influence future product opportunities based on Amazon insights.
Manage SKU productivity and rationalization.
Ensure the Amazon assortment supports both consumer demand and Super7's broader brand strategy.
Digital Shelf & Consumer Experience
Own the overall quality and effectiveness of Super7's Amazon presence.
Partner with Marketing and Creative to optimize:
Product detail pages

Ensure advertising investment is aligned with revenue, profitability, inventory, and product lifecycle objectives.

Improve in-stock performance and minimize lost sales resulting from availability issues.
Develop processes for managing Amazon-specific inventory requirements and replenishment.
Identify potential overstocks, aged inventory, and slow-moving SKUs early.
Partner cross-functionally on purchase orders, fulfillment challenges, chargebacks, shortages, and other operational issues.
Balance inventory availability with working-capital requirements and profitability.
Cross-Functional Leadership
The Senior Director will be expected to operate as a company leader , not simply an Amazon functional expert.
The role will work closely with:
Sales: Integrate Amazon plans with the broader retail strategy and avoid channel conflict.
Marketing: Connect Amazon activation with brand campaigns, launches, entertainment properties, and consumer demand generation.
Product Development: Use Amazon insights to influence product pipeline, assortment, pricing, and launch timing.

Customer Service: Identify and resolve recurring consumer experience issues.
The Senior Director must be able to balance Amazon's immediate needs with the priorities of the broader organization and make decisions that optimize Super7's total business , not simply Amazon's performance.
Leadership Expectations
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Lead with a combination of data, judgment, and commercial instinct .
Create clarity in an environment with competing priorities.
Build strong relationships across functions without relying solely on organizational authority.
Bring Amazon expertise to the organization while remaining open to perspectives from other functional leaders.
Challenge assumptions constructively and use facts to drive decisions.
Develop scalable processes rather than solving every issue individually.
Anticipate problems rather than simply reacting to them.
Clearly distinguish between issues that require executive intervention and issues that should be solved within the team.
Develop and mentor Amazon team members and create a high-performance culture.
Represent Super7 professionally with one of the company's most important strategic retail partners.
Key Performance Indicators
Success in this role will be measured through a combination of financial, operational, and strategic KPIs, including:
Amazon net sales growth
Gross margin and contribution margin
Amazon profitability
Forecast accuracy
In-stock / availability rat
