The Position:

As a Server, at The Bancroft you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidates will have a passion for food, exceptional customer service skills, and a positive attitude. Server candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of serving experience in fine dining, high-volume restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• •Greet guests and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• •Take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff using our POS.
• •Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• •Check on guests frequently to ensure their needs are met and they are enjoying their experience.
• •Provide recommendations for menu items and specials, and beverages.
• •Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• •Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.

Requirements:

• •Minimum of 1 year of serving experience
• •Excellent customer service skills
• •Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• •Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• •Ability to stand for long periods of time, carry a tray, and lift 30lbs
• •Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
