Liquid Personnel is seeking committed and compassionate Social Care Workers to support young people in a residential care setting based in Wicklow, Ireland. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred support that promotes safety, stability, emotional wellbeing, and positive life outcomes. You will help create a nurturing environment and play a key role in enabling young people to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Provide consistent, person-centred care and support to young people in line with their individual care plans.
Promote independence, education, emotional well-being, and positive social development.
Work collaboratively within a trauma-informed, values-led team to deliver therapeutic care approaches.
Contribute to maintaining a safe, stable, and supportive residential environment.
Build trusting relationships with young people and encourage engagement in daily routines and activities.
Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties, as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
Level 7 qualification or higher in Applied Social Care or a related discipline (CORU-approved or eligible).
Full, clean manual driving licence.
Willingness to work a flexible rota, including sleepovers and unsocial hours.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safeguarding, professional standards, and the rights of young people.
