Liquid Personnel is recruiting passionate and dedicated Social Workers to join its client's Safeguarding Team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking local authority committed to delivering positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
As a Social Worker within the Safeguarding Team, you will manage a varied caseload, undertaking assessments, developing child-centred care plans, and delivering effective interventions to support vulnerable children and families. You will receive regular supervision, ongoing professional development opportunities, and support from experienced managers within a collaborative working environment.
What will your responsibilities be?
Manage a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and child protection interventions.
Undertake assessments, create care plans, and review outcomes in accordance with statutory requirements.
Work directly with children, young people, and families to identify needs and promote positive change.
Conduct child protection investigations and participate in strategy discussions and conferences.
Build effective partnerships with colleagues and multi-agency professionals to safeguard children.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and assessments.
Attend regular supervision and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
Social Work England registration.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
A full UK driving licence.
Post-qualified experience within children's services.
Degree level qualification or equivalent in Social Work.
Experience working within safeguarding or child protection environments is desirable.
