Software Engineer II
- Role Summary
- We are seeking a Software Engineer II with 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and services.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications, services, and automation solutions using Java and related technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Build and maintain automated validation frameworks that support functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
- Contribute to application design discussions with a focus on scalability, maintainability, performance, and testability.
- Develop reusable libraries, utilities, and frameworks that improve engineering productivity and software quality.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions to promote engineering best practices.
- Improve test coverage, automation maturity, and quality metrics across products and services.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure quality gates are integrated throughout the delivery process.
- Apply secure coding standards and contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, observability, and reliability practices.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve engineering productivity while maintaining quality and security standards.
- Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in Software Engineering, Test Automation, or a related role
- Strong Java programming skills
- Experience with enterprise applications, automation frameworks, and testing platforms
- Solid understanding of OOP, design principles, and design patterns
- Experience with REST APIs and service-based architectures
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test solutions
