Software Engineering Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineering Manager based in the United States.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you’ll combine hands-on software development with engineering leadership in a fast-moving, globally distributed startup. You’ll initially dedicate at least one-third of your time to coding and delivering new product capabilities. As the team grows, you’ll increasingly partner with the CTO to strengthen engineering practices, team structure, and delivery processes. You’ll support engineers through regular one-to-ones, technical guidance, code reviews, and removing delivery blockers. The role also includes helping build the engineering team through hiring and technical interviews. You’ll work across the full product lifecycle, from research and planning through implementation and monitoring.
