Our digital capabilities are growing within the Production and Intervention (P&I) segment within Oilfield Services & Equipment (OFSE), delivering value and integrating into broader and more capable ecosystems both at our customers and within Baker Hughes’ digital portfolio.
As a Software Sales Advisor , you will be responsible for:
Developing, owning, and executing strategic sales account plans to drive digital product and service revenue growth across Region and Product Segment.
Engaging with C-level and key customer personas to promote the Digital Completions, Intervention & Measurement portfolio.
Being a Trusted Advisor and Customer Champion, establishing partnership relationships with key clients.
Introducing technical sales representatives, solution architects, and sales support teams for deep technical dives and understanding of the solutions.
Leading efforts to establish and expand market share, owning pipeline planning, creation, and maintenance.
Collaborate with product development, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to align digital offerings with market demands and communicate value propositions effectively.
Work with leaders across the organization to develop growth strategies across product offerings with complex and enterprise customers.
To be successful in this role:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
Have a minimum of 10+ years of experience and possess strong domain expertise in Production and Intervention, with practical exposure to Digital Oil Field projects and enterprise software or digital solution sales within Production and Intervention environments.
Proven ability to influence others and work within multi-disciplinary teams.
Have an understanding of the technical challenges associated with software deployment and digital solutions more broadly.
Have a passion to solve complex customer challenges.
Have a desire to be a thought leader and be excited to champion internally and externally.
Have strong sales process understanding and management (pipeline and territory management, customer prioritization and engagement, etc.)
Have the ability to show and deliver value to the customer.
Have strong oral and written communication skills.
Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Effective problem identification and solutioning skills.
Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
Be fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
