Company Overview:

Blink Health is the fastest growing healthcare technology company that builds products to make prescriptions accessible and affordable to everybody. Our two primary products – BlinkRx and Quick Save – remove traditional roadblocks within the current prescription supply chain, resulting in better access to critical medications and improved health outcomes for patients.

BlinkRx is the world’s first pharma-to-patient cloud that offers a digital concierge service for patients who are prescribed branded medications. Patients benefit from transparent low prices, free home delivery, and world-class support on this first-of-its-kind centralized platform. With BlinkRx, never again will a patient show up at the pharmacy only to discover that they can’t afford their medication, their doctor needs to fill out a form for them, or the pharmacy doesn’t have the medication in stock.

We are a highly collaborative team of builders and operators who invent new ways of working in an industry that historically has resisted innovation. Join us!

About the Role

Blink Health is scaling fast and People Operations needs to scale with it. The Global People Operations Scaling Lead — AI & Automation is a newly created, high-impact role at the intersection of HR operations, systems thinking, and applied AI. This person will serve as the architectural brain behind how People Ops is built, automated, and scaled across our US and India operations.

This person thinks in processes, systems, and workflows — and brings the technical fluency to translate People Ops requirements into scalable solutions. They will work across every pillar of the HR support model — onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, immigration, and employee experience — identifying friction points, designing better infrastructure, and partnering with engineering, systems and vendor teams to bring automation to life.

We are looking for a senior person who operates as a staff-level contributor with broad organizational impact. They bring deep operational expertise, strong project management discipline, and the ability to influence across cross-functional teams.

The Opportunity

People Ops is managing a growing, complex, multi-entity workforce across the US and India — with manual processes that were built for a smaller organization. This role is the catalyst for changing that. The person who joins here will have real ownership over how we build, automate, and scale the People Ops function for the next phase of Blink's growth.

What You'll Do

Operational Design & Infrastructure Build

Conduct a structured assessment of People Ops workflows across all HR support pillars — onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, immigration, LOA, and employee experience — to identify inefficiencies, manual touchpoints, and automation opportunities.

Design and document end-to-end operational frameworks, SOPs, and process maps that reflect how People Ops should function at scale.

Define the infrastructure architecture for People Ops — establishing the systems, integrations, and workflows that serve as the operational backbone of the function.

Partner with the Global People Ops Sr Manager to translate the People Ops operating philosophy (Infrastructure → Frameworks → Guidelines) into concrete, executable build plans.

Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap of operational improvements, balancing quick wins with longer-term infrastructure investments.

AI & Automation Solutioning

Identify and scope automation opportunities across the People Ops function — from routine data entry and document routing to complex, multi-step workflows — and build the business case for each.

Develop and document Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that clearly articulate process inputs, outputs, system dependencies, and automation logic for engineering handoff.

Partner with Blink's engineering team to design and deploy AI-enabled solutions, including intelligent agents, automated triggers, and system integrations — with Workday as the system of record.

Evaluate and recommend AI and automation tools (including LLM-based tools such as Claude and ChatGPT) for applicability to People Ops use cases such as payroll input consolidation, knowledge base management, employee self-service, and compliance tracking.

Drive the build-out of an AI program manager agent capable of consolidating payroll inputs, managing timesheet workflows, and routing documentation — in partnership with the engineering team.

Establish feedback loops and quality checks to monitor automation performance and continuously improve solution accuracy and reliability.

Systems & Tools Optimization

Serve as the operational owner of People Ops system design across Workday, JIRA, Confluence, and Slack — ensuring each tool is configured, integrated, and used in a way that reduces manual effort and improves data quality.

Partner with the Workday admin team to identify and implement system enhancements, including workflow automation, reporting improvements, and integration opportunities with downstream systems.

Design and implement a connected HR support ecosystem — including a Slack-based employee self-service model, Confluence knowledge base, and JIRA ticketing workflow that route inquiries intelligently and reduce Tier 1 volume.

Evaluate the current vendor and tool landscape for integration opportunities and workflow optimization across the full employee lifecycle.

Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement

Own the end-to-end project management of People Ops infrastructure and automation initiatives — from scoping and requirements gathering through build, testing, launch, and iteration.

Maintain clear project plans, milestones, and status communications for all active workstreams, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Facilitate cross-functional working sessions and design reviews with People Ops, IT, and engineering teams to build shared understanding and drive decisions.

Translate complex operational and technical concepts into clear, executive-ready communications and presentations.

Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers across active initiatives and escalate with recommended solutions rather than just problems.

What You Bring

Required

7+ years of experience in People Operations, HR technology, or a related operational function — with demonstrated ownership of process design and systems implementation.

Proven experience designing and implementing operational infrastructure at scale — including SOPs, workflow documentation, and cross-functional process maps.

Hands-on experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and translating HR process requirements into technical specifications for engineering or vendor teams.

Strong working knowledge of Workday — including configuration, workflow design, and integration principles.

Experience with AI and automation tools applied to HR or operational use cases — including familiarity with LLM-based tools (Claude, ChatGPT) and workflow automation platforms.

Comfort working in JIRA, Confluence, and Slack as operational and project management tools.

Exceptional project management skills — you run structured workstreams, manage competing priorities, and keep cross-functional teams aligned and on track.

Strong analytical and systems thinking — you see the whole process, not just the task in front of you, and you design for what comes next.

Clear, compelling communicator — you can explain a complex process redesign to an engineer and a business rationale to an executive on the same day.

Preferred

Experience in a high-growth technology company managing HR operations across multiple geographies (US and India experience strongly preferred).

Background in HR technology implementation or HRIS administration, particularly Workday.

Familiarity with agile project man
