• DESCRIPTION:
• Join our team as a Sr Manufacturing Planning Coordinator at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll contribute to orchestrating manufacturing operations to enable scientific discoveries. You'll develop and maintain production schedules while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of manufacturing plans. This role offers opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement through process optimization and solutions.

Working closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Process Engineering, and Operations teams, you'll coordinate material requirements, track work order statuses, and resolve scheduling conflicts to maintain optimal production flow. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in monitoring capacity, analyzing performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for enhancement. This position provides exposure to advanced manufacturing processes while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

• REQUIREMENTS:
• •2 years of experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or related role
• •Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline
• •Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• •Excellent organizational and time management skills
• •Clear written and verbal communication skills
• •Experience in GMP or regulated manufacturing environment preferred
• •Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across functions
• •Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented environment
• •Knowledge of inventory management and production planning principles
• •Capability to work independently while supporting team objectives
• •Physical requirements include ability to move throughout facility, lift up to 25 lbs, and work at computer workstation

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
