The Student Walk Home Attendant Team (SWHAT) is a volunteer service within the McMaster Students Union that will walk or bus with users during the evening hours, 7 days a week.

The SWHAT Walker is responsible for providing attendance to those wishing accompaniment while walking on and off campus within the boundaries.

Able to walk/stand for long periods of time

Skills in verbal communication

Organization and time management skills

Teamwork

Effort & Responsibility

Responsible for providing accompaniment for requested walks

Responsible for maintaining an appropriate and positive image of the MSU

Working Conditions

Late evenings

Walking long distances and in unpleasant weather
