SUPPLY SPECIALIST

Summary

You will serve as a SUPPLY SPECIALIST of MARCORSYSCOM.

Duties

• •You will plan, organize, direct, and control supply support activities involving warehousing, accountability, material management, receiving, issuing, shipping, property control, investigations, and oversight.
• •You will manage inventory records and accountability procedures, ensuring excess equipment, requisitions, receipts, and property transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with established requirements.
• •You will coordinate transactions between project offices and contractors, monitor government furnished equipment, and maintain proper accountability while supporting research and development activities.
• •You will review supply reports and records for accuracy, update activity address information, and monitor allowance listings to ensure required assets are properly recorded and assigned to the appropriate offices.
• •You will analyze supply operations and programs, evaluate their effectiveness and efficiency, and apply specialized methods and technical knowledge to resolve supply support requirements under established direction.
• •You will conduct meetings and informational briefings, work with customers to identify their needs, participate as a team member, and prepare correspondence while following Department of Defense and Marine Corps regulations.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Ability to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and/or operations and recommend solutions. 2. Knowledge of supply policy requirements, regulations and computerized supply process systems, GCSC-MC and/or DPAS. 3. Abilityto-leada-diver-se-and-functional-team-and-possess significant-inter-personal si(ills in-conflict-resolution and team building. 4. Ability to communication effectively, both orally and in writing.
