  • Position Summary
  • Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and innovative Technical Design Engineer responsible for design development, engineering calculations, manufacturing drawings, technical coordination, and optimization of industrial special-purpose engineering systems. The role involves close coordination with production and project execution teams to ensure efficient and manufacturable designs.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design Engineering
  • ● Design and develop:
  • ○ Structural support systems
  • ○ Special components
  • ○ Application-based engineering systems
  • ● Prepare detailed engineering and fabrication drawings.
  • ● Develop optimized and manufacturable design solutions.
  • ● Ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.
  • ● Should be capable at conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Technical Activities
  • ● Perform engineering and load calculations.
  • ● Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication details.
  • ● Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
  • ● Prepare technical specifications and design reports.
  • ● Coordinate prototype development and testing activities.
  • Production Coordination
  • ● Support the production team in resolving fabrication and manufacturing issues.
  • ● Modify and optimize drawings based on manufacturing feasibility and site requirements.
  • ● Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure smooth execution of designs.
  • Site Coordination
  • ● Review site measurements and installation requirements.
  • ● Coordinate with project execution and installation teams.
  • ● Provide technical support during installation and commissioning activities when required.
  • Software Knowledge
  • ● AutoCAD
  • ● SolidWorks
  • ● Inventor
  • ● Tekla (Preferred)
  • Qualification
  • ● BE in Mechanical Engineering / Structural Engineering
  • Experience
  • ● 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial design engineering, fabrication design, or special-purpose engineering systems.
  • Skills Required
  • ● Structural design and analysis
  • ● Fabrication and sheet metal design
  • ● Load calculations and engineering analysis
  • ● BOM preparation and technical documentation
  • ● Manufacturing drawing development
  • ● Problem-solving and analytical skills
