UT Government is looking for a Night and Weekend shift Installation Technician in DC.

We are currently seeking a Technical Specialist II to provide advanced technical support and expertise in maintaining the functionality and integrity of our client services and systems. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen sense of urgency, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. The shifts are 11pm-7am Sunday through Thursday and Wednesday to Sunday 3pm-11pm.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for complex technical issues related to physical and IP security systems.

Conduct system performance analyses to improve operational efficiencies and implement enhancements.

Work closely with project management teams to ensure high-quality installations and adherence to project specifications.

Evaluate and recommend improvements to systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Serve as a technical advisor to clients, providing training and support as necessary.

Assist in maintaining asset inventories and service records for all technical equipment.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support role within the security industry.

Strong understanding of various enterprise access control and surveillance systems, including software and hardware integration.

Experience with design and protocols, specifically regarding security applications.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver projects on time while ensuring quality of work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.

Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance.

Night shift Hours and rotating schedules including weekends 11pm-7am Monday through Sunday.

Pay Range

$55,000 — $64,000 USD
