What You Will Do

Operate various conventional machining equipment, such as manual lathe, bores, milling machine and EDM

Perform machining dimensional fits & clearance checks per OEM technical manuals (CIR, MM, SPM).

Perform various bench repair works such as blending, inserts & broken stud replacement.

Interpret machining dimensions & understand the requirements from technical drawings

Inspect work using conventional measuring instruments such as Micrometer, Vernier Caliper and Dial Indicator to verify conformance to specifications

Assist line supervisor in their daily operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline

Perform various other duties as assigned by Workshop Engineer/Manager

Qualifications You Must Have

At least GCE ‘O’/’N’ level or equivalent with NITEC in Precision/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering

Prior experience in Aircraft Engine Industry required

Able to work weekly rotating shifts

Qualifications We Prefer

Machinist with conventional machining experience in the aviation industry is preferred
