We are seeking a motivated and curious individual to join our technology foundation team as an intern. In this hybrid role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of our technology operations, including application support, data support, and Performance management /Site Reliability engineer

Eligibility: These internship opportunities are open exclusively to current third-year degree students who are required to complete an internship or work placement as a mandatory part of their degree program/coursework. Applicants must be returning to their studies following the internship and be able to provide confirmation from their educational institution that the placement forms part of their course requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Provide application support: Assist and gain exposure in the monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our core business applications.
• •Offer data support: Participate in data management tasks, such as data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• •Explore infrastructure cloud exposure: Gain experience in cloud-based infrastructure management, including deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with our IT, development, and operations teams to understand the end-to-end technology landscape.
• •Contribute to continuous improvement: Identify and suggest areas for process optimization and system enhancements.
• •Participate in training and development: Engage in learning opportunities to expand your technical knowledge and skills.
• •Participate in InternConnect learning sessions

Qualifications and Skills:

• •Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• •Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• •Familiarity with basic programming concepts and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL ).
• •Exposure to cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred.
• •Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• •Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with both remote and on-site components.
• •Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to take on new challenges.

By the end of the placement, you will have gained valuable insights into the various aspects of our technology operations and be better equipped to pursue a career in the technology industry.

**Interns in this position will work fully on-site at our Waterford office for the duration of their internship. **
