DMU Dubai invites Expressions of Interest from experienced educators and professionals to join its Adjunct Professional Pool – Foundation International Year Zero (IYZ) .

Purpose of the Adjunct Professional Pool

The pool enables the University to engage qualified practitioners on a flexible, needs-based basis to support foundation-level teaching and academic development.

This call is not linked to a specific vacancy and does not guarantee immediate teaching allocation.

Disciplines / Areas of Interest

Expressions of interest are welcomed in:

• •Foundation-level subject delivery
• •Academic skills and study skills development
• •Student transition and preparedness programmes
• •Support for international foundation pathways

Nature of Engagement

Adjunct Professionals may contribute to:

• •Delivery of foundation-level teaching and academic support sessions
• •Facilitation of workshops and skills-based modules
• •Student mentoring and academic guidance
• •Assessment and evaluation of coursework

Person Profile

Applicants should demonstrate:

• •Relevant academic or professional background
• •Experience supporting foundation or pre-university students (desirable)
• •Strong communication and student-support skills
• •Commitment to inclusive and student-centred education

Applicants with a Master’s or PhD qualification are encouraged to apply, and each application will be considered on its individual merits for adjunct appointments.
