- Is this resume job match free?
- Yes. Matching your resume against live openings is free and needs no account. Upload a PDF, DOCX or text file up to 12MB and hirly shows your strongest matches with the reasons. Tailored documents and applying need a paid plan, from $8.99 a month.
- How is this different from a resume scanner?
- A resume scanner checks one resume against one job description you paste in. This tool works the other way round: it scores your resume against the live openings in a country and shows you the ones that fit best, so you find jobs worth applying to rather than grading one you already found.
- What does the match score show?
- Each match shows how well your resume fits as a percentage, the strengths behind it and the main gap. Both are drawn from six factors: role fit, title match, skills overlap, location, work mode and seniority.
- Which countries can I match my resume against?
- the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, India and Australia. Each also has its own page of live openings with the same upload.
- Why does my resume upload fail?
- The most common reasons are a scanned PDF, which has no text to read, an old .doc file, or a file over 12MB. Export a text-based PDF or a DOCX from your editor and try again.
