Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Temporary Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate printing equipment while ensuring jobs meet quality, production, and safety standards.
Work Authorization:
To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate printing equipment according to job specifications and quality standards
- Perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance
- Prepare inks for proper color and consistency
- Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity
- Check plates for correct format
- Inspect printed materials throughout the run to ensure quality
- Work with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust schedules as needed
- Follow all safety requirements related to the job and equipment
Your Shift: Sunday - Thursday 2:00pm - 10:00pm
You Must Have:
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to make equipment adjustments to required tolerances
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow job instructions
- Ability to work accurately in a production environment
Requirements Within This Position:
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
- Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
- Frequently required to move inside the facility
- Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
We Would Also Prefer:
Ability to work with close tolerances
Ability to effectively communicate with team members
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good color discernment
