About this position:
Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Treasury Management Operations Office r to provide operational support and expertise for Treasury Management members and services. This role serves as a key resource for business members and internal partners by supporting Treasury Management products, digital banking services, onboarding activities, troubleshooting, risk review processes, and operational initiatives.
The Treasury Management Operations Officer is considered a subject matter expert on Treasury Management products and services and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional member experience. Working closely with Treasury Management Sales, Commercial Banking, Business Banking, and other internal departments, this individual supports member onboarding, product utilization, issue resolution, and ongoing service needs while helping strengthen and retain member relationships.
The ideal candidate brings banking experience, strong technical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for providing outstanding member service.
What You'll Do:
Treasury Management Member Support
- Serve as a primary operational support resource for Treasury Management members.
- Respond to member inquiries and service requests related to business bill pay, business online banking, mobile banking, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, ACH services, wire services, Escrow Management, Lockbox Services, and SafePoint Vault services.
- Provide technical support for first time login experiences, password resets, account access issues, and user credential management.
- Troubleshoot member issues and coordinate resolution with internal departments and vendors.
- Escalate complex issues to the Treasury Management Operations Manager when appropriate.
- Maintain ongoing communication with members to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
- Support Treasury Management Sales team initiatives and member relationship management efforts.
Onboarding, Auditing & Risk Support
- Review and audit new Treasury Management member onboardings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and a smooth member experience.
- Partner with Treasury Management Sales and other business units throughout the onboarding process.
- Support annual Treasury Management risk review activities by gathering and reviewing member data.
- Assist in evaluating member product utilization, limits, and service usage to support risk management efforts.
- Ensure Treasury Management documentation and records are maintained accurately.
- Assist with operational reviews and quality control activities as assigned.
Treasury Management Expertise & Operational Excellence
- Maintain extensive knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, systems, and functionality.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for Treasury Management operations and member support.
- Assist with training new and existing employees on Treasury Management services, product enhancements, and procedural updates.
- Create and maintain procedures, job aids, process documentation, and operational reference materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance the member experience, and strengthen operational processes.
- Participate in departmental projects, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform duties specific to the position and other responsibilities as assigned.

- Maintain regular, predictable, and reliable attendance.
What You'll Bring
Experience & Education:
- Minimum of three years of recent banking experience required.
- Experience supporting Treasury Management, cash management, business banking, commercial banking, deposit operations, or related financial services preferred.
- Experience working with Treasury Management products including ACH, wire transfers, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, online banking, and business payment services preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional education, industry training, or related certifications are preferred but not required.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external members.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience utilizing banking systems and core processing platforms.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Treasury Management products, services, and related operational processes.
