Location: Hickory Hills, IL 60457 Start Date: ASAP Helper Rate: $15 per hour

We are seeking a patient, attentive, and dependable helper to support a male client in his 70s who has dementia . His wife, also in her 70s, needs additional help caring for him and ensuring his safety and daily routines are maintained.

The client experiences significant memory-related challenges and requires frequent reminders, supervision, and redirection throughout the day.

Care Responsibilities

Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Provide reminders to use the bathroom

Monitor and redirect him when needed for home safety

Ensure water is turned off to prevent overflowing

Monitor meals and ensure food is properly prepared and safe to eat

Provide reminders regarding appropriate clothing , especially before going outside

Provide companionship and supervision

Assist with occasional errands (no doctor's appointments required)

Help care for the family dog, a very friendly Dalmatian

Maintain a safe and structured environment
