The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. No experience is required. Training will be provided. The ability to be outside in various weather conditions and on your feet most of the time is required for the success of this role.

Prior experience as a rental car damage inspector, insurance appraiser/adjuster, collision/body shop estimator, auction vehicle inspector, dealership vehicle appraiser, or as a related inspector or appraiser is a plus.

Responsibilities for Vehicle Inspector/Condition Report Writer:

• •Review vehicle inspection data and photographs to prepare detailed condition reports.
• •Identify damage, wear, and discrepancies using established guidelines and industry standards.
• •Ensure reports meet internal quality standards and client requirements.
• •Collaborate with field staff and inspection teams to clarify findings as needed.
• •Submit accurate, professional reports in a timely manner to support vehicle sales, leasing, and valuation processes.
• •Complete 20 to 30 condition reports per day.
• •Vehicle lot management.
• •Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements for Vehicle Inspector/Condition Report Writer

• •Must be 21 years of age.
• •Valid drive's license and a good driving record.
• •Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• •Able to be on your feet for the majority of the day.
• •High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• •Vehicle inspection background is a plus but not required.
• •Any outside skilled labor experience will be considered.
