Provide second line of defense oversight, challenge, and advisory support on business continuity, operational resilience, technology resilience, and third-party risk matters.
Conduct risk assessments, scenario analysis, and assurance reviews to identify and mitigate disruption risks to critical business operations.
Maintain BCM governance documentation, including Business Impact Assessments (BIA), Crisis Management Plans, Pandemic Plans, and related policies and procedures.
Deliver BCM training and awareness programs and support crisis management preparedness across the organization.
Prepare management reporting, monitor regulatory compliance, and coordinate BCM reporting requirements across regional and global stakeholders.
Manage relationships with disaster recovery service providers and support workplace emergency preparedness initiatives.
Job Requirements
Minimum 8 years of Business Continuity Management experience within the banking or financial services industry.
Strong experience working within a regulated banking environment.
Experience with crisis management, disaster recovery planning, operational resilience frameworks, and regulatory assurance programs.
Strong knowledge of BCM, operational resilience, operational risk, and regulatory requirements.
Experience providing independent oversight or second line of defense challenge and assurance.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
Strong analytical, communication, and reporting capabilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a complex environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
