- Direct internal specialists and agencies through clear strategic briefs, ensuring execution aligns with business objectives, audience insights, brand standards, and approved strategy.
- Establish measurement frameworks, assess performance, and recommend optimization and future investment.
- Strengthen marketing planning, prioritization, intake, and governance to focus resources on high-impact opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing Operations, Brand, Events, Communications, Compliance, and Legal to ensure strategies are executable, consistent, and compliant.
- Provide limited communications support when directly connected to an approved marketing initiative.
Qualifications & Experience
- 15+ years of B2B marketing experience spanning strategy, planning, and senior business advisory. Financial services, corporate banking, or investment banking experience is strongly preferred; experience with technology, mid-sized companies, or start-ups would be beneficial.
- Proven ability to connect business priorities, client needs, and market opportunities to measurable marketing outcomes through segmentation, positioning, value propositions, and integrated go-to-market plans.
- Strategic-consulting and creative mindset, with the ability to structure complex problems, synthesize market and performance insights, and translate strategy into clear recommendations, briefs, roadmaps, and execution plans. Consulting experience would be beneficial.
- Compelling executive presence and credibility, with the ability to advise senior leaders, articulate a clear point of view, challenge constructively, and influence without direct authority.
