Workforce Division Director

Summary

As a Workforce Division Director, you will serve as a Director of either the Workforce Operations Division or the Workforce Planning Division within ASD. Location of position: Washington, DC; Kansas City, MO; Fort Worth, TX; Lakewood, CO; Tacoma, WA; Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; Boston, MA; San Francisco, CA; Philadelphia, PA; Chicago, IL We are currently filling two vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Duties

Provides senior leadership, expert technical guidance, and authoritative advice to the management leadership on all administrative, management, and human resources activities for the assigned Division. Directs the logistical support functions for the organization, including space management and the acquisition of office supplies, equipment and material to support the information technology and telecommunications requirements of the organization/division. Provides briefings to the Director on a myriad of highly complex management and administrative issues and problems. Evaluates and analyzes the organization's personnel alignment and operational structure relative to the accomplishment of program goals and objectives and makes recommendations to senior management to maximize organizational efficiency. Plans work to be accomplished, balances tasks among employees and ensures deadlines are met and that each employee has an integral role in developing final products.

The GS-15 salary range starts at $150,359 per year. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is: Directing strategic business planning, operational policy implementation, and performance management frameworks; utilizing advanced qualitative and quantitative analysis to provide data-driven insights for executive decision-making; overseeing critical functions including project execution and workforce planning; and providing supervisory oversight to a workforce division, including division logistical support.
